How to Order a Birth Certificate
Please send me an e-mail with the name, date and place of birth.

Please indicate all known information:
• Name
• Place in Spain where born
• Date of Birth
If you do not know the exact date and/or place of birth, please send us an e-mail explaining your case, as we may still be able to obtain the birth certificate.
If you have an old birth certificate, please send us a scan, as that will help us locate the birth record.
Processing Time
12 days on average
In most cases we can offer rush service for an additional fee.
If time is of essence, please let us know.
Prices
• Birth Certificate: 25 Euros (33 US$).
If you need more than one birth certificate of the same person, please let us know at once. Each additional birth certificate costs 15 Euros (20 US$).
• Apostille Legalization(*): 27 Euros (35 US$).
• Consular Legalization(*): Price varies from country to country. Please ask.
(*) A legalization is not required if the birth certificate is to be used in Spain or in a Consulate of Spain abroad. If you intend to use the birth certificate in a country other than Spain, please check if a legalization is required.
• English Translation: 30 Euros (39 US$)
Certificates are issued in Spanish. Certified translation into other major languages are also available.
Delivery
• Delivery by Registered Mail: 6 Euros
Transit time varies according to country of destination, and depends on the postal service.
• Delivery by UPS courier: Price varies according to destination. Please ask.
Prices are in Euros. In brackets is the approximate amount in US dollars, just for informative purposes.
Payment
You do not need to pay up-front. Save for some exceptions, you pay after we have obtained the birth certificate that you seek.
